How Did Enploy Come To Be?

You can meet people online with a simple swipe, get a college education from the comfort of your home, and even order your groceries from the bathtub. Why hasn’t the way we work changed throughout this? Sure, the pandemic brought the office to our homes, but what about everyone else? Servers still served, bartenders still tended bar, all the while finding work the old fashioned way. At Enploy, we’re looking to modernize the frankly outdated practise of finding and hiring workers, as well as finding jobs to apply for.

Hiring new workers is costly for business and sometimes it simply doesn’t workout. Throw a global pandemic into the mix along with a labour shortage and you’ve got a recipe for stress that no business owner should have to deal with. Things haven’t been easy for the workers either. Finding a new job is usually met with a long, antiquated process and after what can be months of searching, you can end up somewhere that simply isn’t a good fit, and then it’s back to square one. Seems kind of stupid right?

Our goal is to create a better way of life for workers and businesses, one where no shift is left unfilled, and everyone gets paid a little more to boot. We know, that sounds like a pretty monumental task, but we’re up to the challenge.

We’re looking to shake up the hiring process for both parties. This new process should be as simple for the business as it is for the worker, and above all else shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. With that in mind, we’ve created the Enploy marketplace to realize this goal. Workers can now pick up a shift and work on the same day, and businesses no longer have to spend thousands of dollars onboarding a new hire. The gig economy just levelled up.
